ITT320 - Lab 1 - Introduction to Networking, Basic Command, IP Config, Ping dan Tracert

 


Untuk sesi makmal pertama kali ini kita akan pelajar dan kenali struktur network kita sendiri, bagaimana untuk mengetahui IP address kita, subnet, default gateway, DNS, MAC Address dan lain-lain maklumat yang terdapat pada fungsi IP Config. Kita juga akan mengetahui, apa device / server yang berfungsi memberikan kita IP address dan kesemua maklumat yang kita bincangkan di atas, iaitu DHCP Server.

Setelah kita mengetahui IP address kita di dalam sesuatu network, kita juga boleh cuba untuk melakukan intipan IP PC Sebelah kita dengan menggunakan comman Ping. Sebagai contoh IP address kita ialah 10.73.20.50 , maka kita boleh cuba Ping IP address yang lain untuk mengetahui sama ada IP tersebut UP atau Down. Fungsi Ping ni juga digunakan untuk mengetahui kestabilan network kita, mengetahui sama ada sesuai server itu live or down dan juga melakukan troubleshooting.

Tracert atau Trace Routing juga kita pelajari dalam sesi kali ini untuk mengetahui laluan (hops) packet yang kita hantar ke sesuatu server / destinasi. Sebagai contoh, jika kita membuka website facebook, kemanakah laluan packet kita itu, samada terus ke server fb di US ataupun ada laluan-laluan lain. Untuk mengetahui dengan lebih lanjut, mohon pelajar untuk menonton video di atas ini.
